Custom 1Guard Safety Guarding for Milwaukee

SlotPro has recently completed a project designing and supplying a custom 1Guard safety guarding system for Milwaukee Tool, a global manufacturer of professional power tools, hand tools, and accessories. At their Auckland training centre, Milwaukee hosts tool testing and demonstration sessions, making safety and accessibility critical for both staff and visitors.
Conventional barriers can restrict access or block visibility during demonstrations. By contrast, the 1Guard safety system offers a modular design that provides protection while maintaining a clear view of the testing area. For Milwaukee, the system was custom coloured in their signature red to reflect brand identity, creating a secure, professional, and functional training environment.
Designed for Safety and Flexibility
Milwaukee required a guarding solution that would secure their tool testing area without disrupting demonstrations. The priority was to keep trainers and visitors safe, while ensuring the space remained open and functional.
SlotPro designed the system using aluminium extrusion posts and mesh panels, configured to fit the layout of the training centre. Access points were integrated into the design, allowing people to move in and out of the space easily and efficiently. To align with Milwaukee’s strong brand identity, the guarding was custom coloured in their signature red, giving the training centre a bold and distinctive look. As the 1Guard system is modular, it can be reconfigured or extended as the training facility evolves.
Results at the Training Centre
The completed 1Guard installation has strengthened safety standards at Milwaukee’s Auckland facility while maintaining full visibility for demonstrations. Staff and visitors are now protected around the testing area, and trainers can access the space with ease.
By supplying a modular system that was straightforward to install, SlotPro helped ensure the guarding could be integrated quickly. The custom red finish also reinforced Milwaukee’s brand identity, giving the training centre a professional and cohesive appearance.
